Arvind Chari (2004)
Chief Investment Officer, Q India (UK), Ltd.
Arvind Chari is the Chief Investment Officer (CIO). His over 20 years of experience in investment management began in 2002 in macro, credit, and fixed income portfolio management. Arvind joined Quantum as a Research Analyst in 2004 to build the fixed income and macroeconomic research function and to help develop fixed income products for Quantum Mutual Fund. In 2010, he helped launch amongst the first open-ended India bond funds for foreign investors. Arvind gained multi-asset exposure by helping launch the Gold ETF, Equity Fund of Funds and the Multi asset funds at Quantum. As a CIO, he uses his vast experience in managing money for investors and his interactions with leading global institutions to guide them on their India Asset Allocation. Prior to joining Quantum, Arvind gained two years’ experience at Tower Capital and KJMC Capital Markets as a dealer in the Indian government bond markets. Arvind holds a master’s degree in Commerce and a master’s degree in Management Studies from Mumbai University.
